It seemed like it was going to start in windowed mode. Anyway i havent been able to run the game ever since so i reinstalled the game but when it was checking PunkBuster after the files were copied, it just stuck ther where it said something like: Checking version status.

but now ive built a full on gaming pc which can run everything i throw at it. ive played far cry 3 on this just fine. but far cry 1 still won't launch. it acts the same as it did on my other computer. it just gives me a black screen when i attempt to launch it, if i alt+tab out, it will show the far cry popup/spash screen over the black screen

Still won't work after first trying 12 hrs a go. Game won't authenticate with Ubisoft. Starts up ok on Steam and gets past Steams DRM but not Ubisofts. So I would suspect something wrong Ubisofts end.

Anyone know why my Far Cry 4 on Steam wont launch? I have uninstalled & reinstalled it, verified the integrity of the game cache, ran steam as administrator, restarted my PC and updated my drivers. But every time I click play it says its running then just stops, without opening any new windows or anything.

Game won't launch on Ubi Connect. Far Cry 6. Whenever I click on play, it does the usual syncing with cloud and then moves onto launching the game. Far cry 3 wont launch. Far Cry 3. i literally cant launch the game i bought it today on steam, and when i click play it is just green for a couple of seconds and then it goes back to blue. I tried reinstalling, i tried verifying integrity, i tried doing the shortcut trick, it didnt allow me to change the path. Nothing works.
